As a moderator your role is to keep the boards organized, and remove spam. This role sometimes involves warning trouble-makers for bad behavior. Many players will not be happy about being warned (even when 'caught red-handed') and some will let you know about this (read: explosively rage at/about you). You need to be able to deal calmly with conflict, without getting offended or upset. You need to be aware that sometimes you'll gain enemies despite the fact that you've only acted in a calm and reasonable manner, enforcing the rules which the player had broken. As a moderator you will gain access to some private information about players like their warning history. You need to have respect for other players' rights to confidentiality and not share any of this information with other people. You shouldn't use this information for anything which doesn't directly relate to your duties as an moderator for Hoglets. You should use your moderating abilities only where required, and not use them to take advantage of situations for yourself or other players. I will only be accepting five moderators for each category The categories are, General Moderators- moderates the intros, general discussion, hoglet chat etc. Creativity Moderators- moderates the stories, poems and fan art for art theft etc. Newbie Helpers- help new players find their way around the forums, answers questions about Hoglets. Role-Play Moderators- moderates the RP boards, making sure no-one is powerplaying, posting explicit scenes etc. Tech support - knows how to use Php, and can get the site looking a bit like CS with adoptables and trading features Application Username: Category applying for: Do you understand what you need to do?: (brief summary) Are you able to be online for at least an hour a day?:

We want to create a safe place for our users to be one this site, so, here are the rules.

Treat other members respectfully. If you have nothing nice to say, then perhaps say nothing at all. Any bullying or harassment of members will not be tolerated.

Please don't use bad language on the forum - Please don't swear or use other offensive language on the forum. Even if you don't have a problem with using that language, it's not fair on other members who may find it offensive.

Keep topic/image content kid-friendly, please! - just imagine every other member is 10 years old and behave appropriately Wink

Spamming - don't post pointless posts/threads etc. Don't post threads to advertise other threads (e.g. posting in general chat to advertise a thread you created in role play/stories section). Any posts breaking this rule will just be deleted.

If you break the rules you may find yourself getting a warning from a member of our moderator team. If you continue to break rules and disrupt the forum, you will be banned.
